ABOUT

Courtney Geilenfeldt is a cook, recipe developer, and supper club host.

Courtney has been in the service industry in some way shape or form, mostly in her time living in Seattle, WA from 2014-2024. While mostly a self taught cook raised by talented homecooks, she has also learned from bread bakers/pastry chefs during her time living in Berlin, Germany. Upon moving back to Seattle, Courtney jumped back into the service industry as a full-time baker, but decided to put her German bread knowledge into running her own micro bakery called Bakery Darlene, in 2020. In 2021, Bakery Darlene was featured in an article about the top bakery pop-ups in the Seattle Times.

In 2022, Courtney decided to take a different route, and began hosting her supper clubs. Since starting supper clubs, she’s partnered and collaborated with many brands in the Food and Bev world, as well as other chefs.

Besides hosting supper clubs, Courtney writes and shares recipes on her Substack, developes recipes and food content for Brands, and offers private supper club dinners for those wanting a personal dining experience for their family and friends.

Courtney lives in the heart of San Diego, CA with her husband and miniature dachshund Herald. Her drink of choice is a anything amaro or vermouth based, and anchovies are a must have in her pantry.
